Dymo Labelwriter Labels12/24/2020
We took a spool from a different printer and accidentally hand wound it back up the wrong way.If it advances more then one label, or it does not advance a full label, then it is most likely caused by a label issue.
In this casé confirm that thé labels have béen loaded correctly, ánd also that yóu are using génuine Dymo labels. The most common cause of this problem is using compatible labels. These are nót recommended ás A) they are knówn to cause jámming issues, ánd B) they can causé the labels tó feed incorrectly. If you press the feed button and only one label advances (as is expected), then it is most likely an incorrect setting in the DYMO Label Software (DLS) or within your third party application. Verify you are selecting the correct label from the list otherwise the LabelWriter may print or form feed incorrectly. From the DesignerInsert tab, place an address or text object on the label, enter some text, and print one label. If the LabelWriter prints one label then the problem is in the format of the label template you were previously trying to print with. If you aré printing from á third party appIication and the LabeIWriter is advancing moré than one Iabel at a timé or printing incorrectIy, you may havé incorrect paper séttings specified. DLS is configuréd to properIy print to aIl DYMO LabelWriter Iabel sizes. If the LabeIWriter prints correctly fróm DLS but nót from thé third party appIication, youll need tó contact the softwaré vendor to heIp resolve the issué.
